"Excellent! The restaurant is recently renovated and it is a very cute vintage rustic design. Staff were fun, welcoming and very helpful in selecting our food items and adjusting our meals. We started with the French onion soup, which was so delicious and full of fresh mozzarella that it was sworn before I could get a picture. Then we moved on to the Brussel shoots that were in Alfredo sauce and were pretty good. And finally, we had the Walleye fruit, which had the best French fries I've ever had, and probably the best broken fish I've ever had. I sat at the bar and ordered the 1/4 broiled chicken with frits and seasoned sour cream. I enjoyed a beer while waiting for my food. The chicken was delicious, a little salty, but moist meat and crispy skin. The pommes are like super thick chips that are perfect to splash the spiced acid cream dimmer. The creamy Coleslaw was also great.

UPDATE: I went back recently with my daughter for a special date as we don’t get out much, and we were spoiled beyond belief. Not only is the food amazing but the employees are unlike any I’ve met! HUGE hearts!!! We will always recommend and frequent this place as often as we can! Old review: I stopped in for a bite with my son and immensely in LOVE! We each got a lunch item (him burger me, Chisago cheese steak) and I recommend you add the seasoned sour cream for those amazing fries! I WILL be back with my whole family!!!

Visited for the first time 3/18/22. Our waitress was really great (I didn't catch her name, but she looks like Vanna White). Hubs had fish and chips. It seemed legit as in not shipped to them prebatter and frozen in a cardboard, but maybe dipped by hand in batter and fried on the grounds? He really liked it. I got the reubs and when I got into the ecstasy! rye cut on Texas with juicy sauerkraut and ti the beef melted in my mouth like butter. All right! Oh and her drips were also quite good, beautiful and crispy and served with what was called a spicy sauce, but seemed not spicy.
