"Timbers never disappoints! I have eaten there while we’ve stayed at the lodge, I’ve eaten there for work parties; my husband and I have had date nights there; and tonight I took my family there for a mutual meeting place to eat and chat! The food was fabulous, service was wonderful, and the wine was great! Our party included ages 5 to 40 and we all were satisfied! As usual, we will be back!"

we loved our stay in the lied lodge and eat every food we enjoyed in timbers. it was an incredible retreat to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. we met a series of people who have celebrated for decades and we understand why.

"Tastes like home. As a displaced Texan in Nebraska I have searched high and low for food that tastes like being back home. Some places have come close but it still was always lacking until we stumbled upon El Portal a few years ago. My husband and I would drive from Omaha just to eat there and last year when we moved to Lincoln, I was so happy to be that much closer to my favorite place. I have yet to have a dish here that isn't amazing and most of the time we are here at least once a week. The welcoming atmosphere and the friendly service definitely keep us coming back."

"I wish they added more cheese pizza after it was done but if your close go give it a try. It was only $10 per person they have a variety of things pizza , pasta , salad bar , dessert everything you would want when getting pizza without the additional costs of everything individually. Also the waitress was super friendly!!"

"We dined at the indoor bistro style restaurant and chose a table with a lovely view at a perfect 77°. This family-owned restaurant had a beautiful boutique atmosphere and the service was excellent, making us feel right at home. Next time you're in Nebraska City, be sure to stop by for unique cuisine, great wine, delicious desserts, and excellent coffee. "We went to Timberâs for the first time last night, and we had an incredible experience. My New York strip was so juicy and flavorful, one of the best steaks Iâve ever had. My boyfriendâs burger was ginormous and also delicious! We also had breakfast. My French toast was served with pecan syrup that was made right there at the Lied Lodge and it was so delicious. Our servers for breakfast and dinner were Juli and Branden, both extremely professional and friendly."
