"wise steakhouse is a rustic restaurant in family style. we ordered the speck cheeseburger and land fried steak. the speckkäseburger was very good. it was a nice size, not huge, but big enough that you felt like you had a burger. the land fried steak, or as we call it in texas, chicken fried steak was delicious, but small. the side that came with him was also small. I wouldn't recommend it for a hungry man because he won't fill it. the service was not the largest. our waitress didn't check us out. our glasses could have been refilled at least once. the restaurant was not excessively busy and there was much help to walk around. we never saw a manager or were asked how about our meal. Asked for a medium well Steak got a medium rare.Wifes was OK She got a CFS This was my Wife's Birthday Dinner. I had just come in from OTR after month. Probably won't ever go back. They use to be pretty good.

The chicken pasta was seasoned to perfection! The meat was tender just like I like it…my veggies were soft and buttery and I covered my dish with their famous honey mustard sauce! If you haven’t tried this yet then you’re simply missing out on a treat! Try it! It’s definitely delicious ?

I've eaten here since I was a child, it always had good steak at a reasonable price. Last night, I ordered a medium. it came ultra rare purple with which I am good, but I took a bite it tasted terrible, so I asked her to cook it some more than it came back, it was a good medium rare. So I took another bite, which is when I realized that it was not that the steak was boiled under it rancid it had no doubt either in the heat or at room temperature for a very long time. I didn't make it waiter because it's not her fault. quality has fallen in recent years. but that was terrible, and I have no excuse for serving such a steak. also as a side note, the original brot is gone and they are now rollin...

There was a bus from High School students from Avoyelles Parish who had been the polite and good way I had ever been. "The food was amazing and the staff so friendly. The owner was there, cleaning the windows when I realized they might be closing down. I asked what time they closed, she said 3. It was 4:15. I felt so bad and apologized profusely. I've worked in the restaurant business and know how it feels to be kept late. The owner was so gracious and told me not to worry about it, that she had things to catch up on. If you're looking for good food and awesome people, this is the place for you."

"My husband and I had a delicious meal at Maglieaux's tonight. My entree was a chicken breast stuffed with crab meat and he had Italian Sausage Cannelloni. Both were tasty and filling. The cream sauce on both was spiced perfectly. The bread pudding was to die for. The bread texture was light and the cream sauce was perfect. It was light and creamy and did not overshadow the bread. The service was fast and attentive. Our server, Shelby, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable about menu items, she had a very pleasant personality, she checked on us several times during dinner to see if we needed anything and we had a nice brief conversation with her after dinner. The restaurant has an outside seating area overlooking Natchitoches's beautiful river. I highly recommend Maglieaux's Riverfront Restaurant."

"the restaurant is probably regrouped after the reopening from the fire this year. we had reservations sitting immediately, but it took 15 minutes before a waiter approached us, not our waiter, but a waiter and asked if someone was over? it was obvious when we were right in front of the waiting station or so we thought. No, it doesn't work that way. we were there for 2 hours, which was in order when we were and visited another couple. service was just okay. Eating was good, not great. it is probably the only raised restaurant away from the city festivities. reserve them, cross their fingers. they can find out how they work through reopening."
