"we ordered appetizer of the spinach/cheese dip which arrived after our salads and the cheese was hardened on the top making the dish hard to eat. My wife had the lemon chicken and the beans were over cooked and the gnoochi was like eating a flour ball, the chicken was okay. I had the pasta and the noodles were stuck together in the sauce and the amount of mushrooms, olives, and tomatoes was very small, making the dish a stuck together pile of noodles."

"Have you ever received a raw pizza before? No? Me neither, until I ordered from here. The medium pizza was completely doughy, not even close to done. It didn't even LOOK done, so I'm not sure how anyone thought it was ready to box up and send. The calzone was also completely doughy, and didn't even have the right ingredients. I ordered one of their menu items, not a custom request, and only one of the 5 to 6 ingredients was correct. Really disappointing. I don't think there's any coming back from this one. Do better."

"We had planned to gather to celebrate our mother's birthday while everyone was in town after the Thanksgiving holiday. We had previously visited this restaurant for Mother's Day and experienced a very long wait for a table. I was glad to see an option for open table reservations when I searched for the restaurant on Google. I made a reservation and informed everyone that we would not have to wait long this time. However, some of our group arrived early, only to be told by the staff that they do not accept reservations, especially on busy weekends. The rest of us arrived at our reservation time to find our table already seated. I mentioned to the staff that we had a reservation and recommended that they address the issue on Google. They seemed unaware that this was a possibility, so I demonstrated how easy it was to make a reservation online. Despite this, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I would advise others to arrive early if they want to secure a table without a long wait."

"I required a gluten free menu, with attention to limiting cross contact. Sybaris has a separate GF menu, and were versed in taking care. The wait staff made us feel welcome. The food was amazing. I had the beef boirgione and my husband, weisswurst. The flavors were fabulous. The 3 vanilla creme brulee typed of the meal. The restaurant has a relaxed feel while providing high-end food. "Novak's has been an icon in Albany for at least the 25 years I can recall. The food is fantastic. It's heartbreaking to know they are closing. Better try them before they're gone. "This place is my favorite place to eat in the Mid-Willamette Valley- I kid you not. It manages to capture the true essence of Vietnamese cuisine while also making it fresh, modern, and excellent in its presentation. You order at the counter when you get there but then get table service, which is always excellent. I love everything on the menu, but my favorites are the beef pho, pork Bahn mi, and combination noodle salad (with a Vietnamese iced coffee to wash It down). These are amazing, sweet people who own it. We drive 40 minutes to eat here as often as we can. We love you, Ba’s!"
