"My family and I went to Vera's over the weekend, and we were not impressed. We called ahead and asked if we needed reservations since there were a decent number of us and were told no. This place is great. Let’s start with the staff. They are the best. You feel like it’s family waiting on you. Second the food is great. The view is the best. The crabs are the best in the area but get your order in early. When they are thisgood and big everyone wants them so they go fast.

Celebrated my birthday here yesterday and was really impressed! First, our waitress Carrie, was excellent. She was very attentive and made great recommendations from the menu. Second, the food was delicious! The crab cake is no joke all meat,no fillers! And, those who had the fish chips really enjoyed them. I had the fried oysters and they were tasty but wish theyhad been fried a little bit lighter. Third, the atmosphere was lovely. The only recommendation I have to make the experienceeven better is to add more selections to the dessert menu. They only have 2 cake choices coconut and cookies n' cream.
