we met friends for dinner in vir room west, as it was kind of halfway for each couple. we would have brought our dogs, but rain was threatened. the vin room west has a very dog friendly program including a tasty box for dogs....I had crabcake as an appetizer and my date had merguez. we accompanied this with a Spanish cava that was brut and very tasty. for the main course my data had a lamming frame and I had a ribeye steak. the food was well prepared and presented. the waiter was helpful and friendly. I expect us to meet our friends again.

We have been going to VIN room west pre-pandemic and thoroughly enjoyed our experience every single time. We love tapas, wine selection and fresh oysters. We also ordered take out and our favorite are steak bites. However, when we returned to in-person dining, we were...greeted by seriously overworked staff member who did not show any signs of welcoming us, displayed ignorance on the verge of rudeness while taking our details, spent 5 minutes getting our information and then made condescending comments to a polite response of preferred sitting. We left without ordering anything. Too bad but hopefully management will take notice and will train their staff better.
