"For the first time here on a recommendation from a friend, I enjoyed my meal and service here safe and would definitely come back and give this place another try. My handle with the place would be the signature Mozambique sauce, although I still thought it was good it really loaded with garlic and spices and comes as a border paste. I thought maybe it was just the free sauce they put out, but the shrimps of Mozambique came out right away. A lot of taste but for me, in my opinion, for what it is worth, tastes good, but not for me and the waitress 't offer us any desserts or additional drinks the bill just showed up casually and probably missed on a few more drinks. This is my John Taffer rule, close the table before I'm done well. Other then that I really enjoyed my experience and recommend to enjoy this place, I wanted to give it 3 a half stars, but 4 is safe. Eating is pretty good."

"Love loves it here! I just married here on 10.20.17 and have no complaints! The ballroom is BEAUTIFUL, large, elegant, just perfect for any color scheme / wedding theme! I loved going outdoor cocktail hours with the fire pits and a wonderful hor d'oeuvre ad that my guests enjoyed. My day of coordinator Justine was so nice! She got my vision perfectly and decorates everything so much better than I could have imagined! She was up on my wedding day and helped me to go my day smoothly! Ashley was also so helpful through the planning process and was so easy to work during my stressful moments. (I cannot thank you both enough to be so amazing! I even had my sample dinner here in the night before and it was so perfect the food was delicious!! I got so many compliments of my wedding and the venue is on the list! Of course I recommend Hillside:"

"I should have taken a picture of my food but it was so beautiful, I get the need to dig into it immediately. I got a Florentine eggs Benedict (spinach and tomato, poached egg, hollandaise) with has browns. The spinach was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The egg was runny, the has browns were deliciously crispy. My husband got the Irish Benedict (corned beef hash, poached egg, hollandaise) with home fries. He said his was delicious as well. I always order decaf coffee, and I got a fresh pot of it. The waitress was very solicitous and kept tabs of our table the whole time. All in all, a great experience and a delicious breakfast!!"

"We hadn't been to Chardonnay's in a while, and it was nice to be back. We went on a Sunday evening (there's something relaxing about dining out on Sundays and the place was probably the quietest we've seen (ever! Our server Emily was great welcoming and enthusiastic but not overly so she struck the right balance. My wife had the kale soup, which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had a caesar salad, which was great. We split a shrimp cocktail that was delicious. MY wife had the arugula fig pizza and I had the goat cheese and bacon jam burger; I had asked for the burger at medium rare, but I don't know that it's even possible to cook this one to anything less than a medium, so a little bump, but the burger was very flavorful and the fries were delicious. Dessert was a bridge too far, but the options sounded delicious maybe next time! All in all, I know we'll be back!"

"My wife and I usually dine outside during the warmer weather here. We made a decision last minute, and it was very good. The Matai is here! The waitress was great! The young man who plays songs on his guitar was also very nice. Recommend to stop for good food, drink and live music at any time. I hear they'll open out soon!"
