"Great family style diner. Was buying a trailer down at the next exit and needed some time to kill and eat. Conveniently located right off the freeway. The food, service and cleanliness was top notch. My son and I had the Philly and my wife had the prime rib dip (a special). Both are excellent choices. Wish we didn't live 2 hours away because it would probably be on my weekly go to restaurant to eat at. Did run into a snag. The wife ordered one of the 2 specials (prime rib dip) but instead got the prime rib sandwich. The server messed up but it was corrected within 3 minutes apologized the whole time which was not needed. Mistakes happen. Just a great example of customer service which is rar...

Eating was GREAT! My landboy man gave it all and this is a great praise. Customers never stopped coming, and the servers had to 'Hop to it' to keep. Nevertheless everyone was friendly and helpful. Had to ask a few things here and there, but not a big deal. We look forward to returning.

I'm waiting to visit Vittles when I'm in town! The outside is so inviting!!! Inside is decorated with country decor and delicious smells! The menu is full country restaurant item, served breakfast, lunch dinner! I had country fried steak breakfast and my companion had the taco salad! Both were delicious! The dough on the land fried steak was so good! It really caught my attention. The Taco salad came in a huge crispy bowl with all fixes inside, avocado and salsa on the side! It looked great! I look forward to my next visit!

"This small, old-fashioned restaurant with a friendly atmosphere has a model train running around the deck. The food is delicious, especially the hamburgers cooked to your preference. I recommend trying the scabby, twitter pick on your burger and the classic hoosi bread-denderloin sandwich. The pommes swirl rings are also a great choice. They offer a variety of flavors for the cooks, and their milkshakes are fantastic. The restaurant tends to be busy, and it has been a favorite spot for generations, with the lemon drop being a popular choice since the 1970s. Just be aware that they are closed during Thanksgiving week and the two weeks around Christmas and New Year. Don't forget to pick up a T-shirt or hoodie to take home as a souvenir. This place is a gem, just like Young's in Yellow Springs."
