"We've been to WartHog several times and the food has always been great. It's been a few years since we'd been there. We were in the area for a football game so decided to go there for lunch. The meat was cooked to perfection and tasted great, but the excessive BBQ sauce overwhelmed the dish. The sandwich bread could have been fresher. Despite these minor issues, the service and atmosphere were top-notch.

Food: terrific fall-off-the -bones ribs in a sweet/sour bbq sauce. I’m no bean lover, but these pintos were delicious—a little kick but nothing to overwhelm a flavorful gravy. The cornbread muffin was perfect: not too sweet (leave that to the honey butter) and a fine hold-together texture. The coleslaw was great, too. Atmosphere: spotless, three dining options, inside, outside, or open barn. We’re frequent visitors to the area—we’ll come back!
