"As hungry hikers looking for a tasty, hearty bite near Mount Snow, this hit the spot! Around 6pm last Saturday, I called in and order of 4 sandwiches for takeout. They said about 20 minutes and it was ready promptly when I arrived. It was nice and quick to pay inside and the cashier was friendly. The fries were delicious- perfect diner-like fries. Each sandwich came with fries and coleslaw. My friends liked their Philly cheese steaks and one enjoyed a huge chicken parm. I got a black bean burger and I was pleasantly surprised with how crispy and tasty the patty was. Far exceeded our expectations for a bite in the middle of Vermont!"

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the staff is very welcoming. They have a varied dinner menu with generously sized portions. The prices are reasonable and they accept credit cards. My wife ordered the Shepherd's pie and enjoyed it very much.

"Came here back in February while at Mount Snow for a ski weekend. They were incredibly busy but we were able to get a spot at the bar which was fine with us. The food was actually really good. The French onion soup hit the spot and the bbq platters we got were a lot of food and it was incredibly delicious. The house made sauce were also really good and wish I couldn't tried them all."

"I just wanted to take the time to share how much I love the ruben here. I was never a big fan of ruben's until I tried the one here at the Saloon and I absolutely fell in love with it. Now, I get the ruben every single time I come here and havent gotten anything else except the ruben in years because of how good it is. I've tried to go to multiple other places to get rubens but i end up not liking it as much because of how delicious this one is. This ruben makes other rubens taste dry and just cannot even compare to the Saloons ruben. Im not even kidding when I say this is the best ruben in the world, from the perfectly toasted rye bread to the warm, juicy corned beef inside. I think everybody should come here because the food and atmosphere here are just fantastic."

"Could not say enough about the exemplary customer service here. I was having technical difficulties trying to place my order (MY phone was malfunctioning and kept dropping the call in the middle of the order) and the employees went out of their way to ensure I got my order placed. Beth in particular was great, very helpful and understanding. This level of service was particularly admirable because I was coming off a long hike, was very cranky and must have called them 6 times in a row (each call randomly dropped) Just wow! And on top of all that, the pizza? YUM!"

"Randomly stopped here on a cross trip and I'm so happy we made it! Best sticky bungalow we've ever had!! Chocolate croissants and cookies were also amazing! The owner was so nice, we will definitely be back on our next road trip!"
