"I have very mixed opinions about this place. It was cozy, spacious, had extremely friendly staff, and overall the experience was very pleasant. The food was justflavorless but the execution and presentation of each meal was perfect?? The mushroom pizza tasted worse than Digiorno’s, the Caesar salad dressing tasted like lemon water, and the whipped ricotta was a small proportion with no oil, or any distinguishable flavor besides paste. I will say the Margarita Pizza was subtle but fine, crunchy thin crusty, and the potatoes with aioli were pretty taste, but overall just kind of a disappointment. Food defiantly doesn't match the price! Also waited hour and half for food . Everyone's French fried where burnt. Why would you serve food like this and then expect people to pay so much! Don't fall for the hype on this place! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

"This place was amazing. The food, drinks and atmosphere were perfect. Definitely casual and has a friendly atmosphere. It's full of locals, but you'll feel like one if you're not. The pizza and the southwest egg rolls had to die for this. In any case, you must visit a place of you in the area. I know I'm sure I'm back."

"My brother in law comes from Maryland to visit us in Toronto and has told me about this pizza joint. Tried it out on the way down and I am amazed by how good it is. I took the buffalo chicken pizza 8inch and I was hesitant since most times I feel places make it with a heavy hand but Monroe did a good job of balancing the flavors so each ingredient really came out well. Itll definitely be a staple of my annual drive down during the holidays. Great people great food can't get better than this."

"We had a reservation for a group of 10 during fall fest. Reasonably- they had a modified menu offered. The price points on everything is out of control, the spaghetti tasted like a school lunch, the Mac and cheese was extremely salty both uneaten. The $11 stuffed banana pepper was ONE pepper in a pool of spaghetti sauce. The waiter was good when he was around however clearly over sat because he didn’t even have time to check on the table and we spent hundreds of dollars on inedible food. Our reservation was not even sat all at one table- when we had made it weeks in advanced. You’d think at an average price point of $25-40 an entree we wouldn’t be sitting at a foldable table, in separate groups, with inedible food. I wouldn’t recommend anything."

"My girlfriend and I came in for dinner on Saturday night. We were told that there was a 10 to 15 minute wait the hostess took my phone number and said we would receive a text message. After waiting for a half an hour we checked back in to see what was going on. Nobody had a clue that I was even waiting for a table. Frustrated at that point we sat at the bar. The bartender started to take our order we were able to get our starters out and then just walked away in the middle of us ordering. Had to grab another bartender to finish our order but that took another 10 minutes and still nobody could confirm whether the first part of our order was put in or not. The appetizer and my girlfriends soup came out, there was soup all over the sides of the bowl it was a mess. Due to the delay in ordering our food came out much later, I ordered the English pub burger well done it came out red it looked raw. Drink glasses sat empty for most of our experience as the bartenders kept passing us to take care of people around us skipping over us each time. When I got my second glass of blueberry there was one blueberry in it the bartender said she was going to grab more but I never did and just started taking other peoples orders. Love the beer but don’t think I will ever be back to the restaurant again. Horrible experience not worth the money."

"I went to the Ginmill with my girlfriend where we got lunch, we got an appetizer of cheesy garlic spinach bread to start, I got a tuna wrap and mimosa while she got a Philly cheesesteak and soft drink. The service was quick, the waitress was on top of refills and everyone was friendly. Our meals came with sides of chips which seemed like they were plain ruffles from the bag, still good but not what we expected. At atmosphere is laid back rustic with comforting low lighting. The restaurant can accommodate many guests but not make you feel squished. This restaurant is also open for breakfast. Overall I would go their again, it was enjoyable and well priced."
