"I used Velvet Sky Bakery for my wedding and I'm so glad that I did. From the first day we sampled the cakes, we knew we had to use this bakery. The cakes were extremely moist, (even after a few days in and out of the fridge). It's awful. Bought dozen cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. The icing is good but the cake is so dry that it falls apart.

Not only are the cupcakes really dry the girl who waited on me seemed annoyed to have a customer. Sorry that I bothered you by trying to support your business. The 2 cupcakes were awful. So dry that I threw them away. The cream cheese icing on the red velvet cupcake was good but the cake was awful. The chocolate icing on the chocolate chip cupcake was too sweet and again dry inedible cake. Seriously need to change your recipe

It seems like the owner is unresponsive to these issues. The typical response we received was just a generic message about sharing feedback with employees and appreciating customers. "My friend and I were looking for a short bite before I went to the George Thorogood concert at the Keswick Theater in Glenside. We stopped at the Trevi Italian Restaurant and we were warmly welcomed by the hostess. She asked if we went to the concert we said, yes, then she told us that our meal could take a while because everything is freshly prepared. We answered that it was good that we had a lot of time. We sat on our server very friendly and helpful. We just had bread n butter for an app with homemade wines. Pinot Grigio fir my friend, Chianti fir me. They were both excellent!! We both Italian Chicken Marsala both our Favs. The Marsala sauce was excellent chicken was tender and the roasted vegetables it came with were great!! But the star when the plate the gnocchi it was creamy soft tasteful melt delicious in your mouth. We had to go to the show so we skipped Dessert. We decided to come back if we are not under time delays and have a full course meal. Trevi is a must for a culinary pleasure that is worth waiting and the prices are very reasonable. My compliments to the cook and all his people who made our culinary experience so pleasant and pleasant!!!"

"I took my husband to Jansen for his birthday this week. I love that there is this high end, high service restaurant right in the middle of Mt. Airy! The service is impeccable. The perfect blend of attentive and unintrusive. We each had a 1st course yummy soup and delicious tomato salad. I had a steak special and he had a great piece of fish. Dessert was the perfect amount and very delicious. I would totally go back there for a special occasion."

"When I came here for the first time, we waited for about an hour for the sushi and I was on the verge of going out. However, I could see that they had a big table that had arrived before us and at least the appetizers came quickly when I had ordered, so I was not completely hungry. I would recommend DEFINITELY to make a reservation if you plan to dinner on a Friday night. They are BUSY and near 10. At 7 there is definitely a dinner crowd and only 2 waiters and 2 cooks. 1 cook makes sushi rolls and 1 makes the sashimi. The sashimi is EXCELLENT and comes faster than the reels that will definitely fill you... so my suggested strategy to get your money worth (approximately $22 a head) is coming with an empty stomach, go ham with appetizers, put this order first, order some reels as you wish and then go ham with the Sashimi. My friends and I did that the second time around and had a great experience. The waitresses are very nice, but you can say that they feel the stress of understaffing... I would recommend the shrimp empura, green tea and red beans ice and salmon for Sashimi. Spicy raw tuna rolls are also very good."
