"Totally unforgettable food. One of the best meals we've ever had. The appetizers were absolutely phenomenal. We shared the Pork Potstickers and the Sweet and Sour Calamari. Of course, after all the food we could hardly eat our main dishes, but these dishes were also incredible and we took the rest with us to enjoy another day. I had the tips and frites and my sister had the mixed grill. The steak was seasoned and cooked for perfection, and so gently melted in our mouth. We also brought Dessert home, the cream Brulee, and that was also amazing. That was our first visit to the restaurant and I'm sorry that it took us so long to finally get there. We will definitely come back. The staff was warm and friendly, the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable, and the drinks and wine were delicious. I highly recommend this place. It's a real jewel."

"Mountain Spirits Tavern is the eating and drinking establishment for the Mountain Edge Resort and Spa. It occupies a large facility at the end of the lobby area as soon as one enters the resort. And it has monumental views of the lake, mountains and forest surrounding the resort. The place had been recommended by a friend and we came in after reading a review in another trip advisor website as no one had reviewed it before on Yelp. Mountain Spirits could be a busy place and a small gold mine for the resort but it doesn't advertise as it should and therefore a lot of the clientele is either hotel guests or locals who know a good place to eat because the place served superb faire and the service was excellent. Our waitress was an expert. She knew when to be there when she was needed and knew to leave us alone when we did not. She knew the beer selections like the palm of her hand, recommended the plates and was superb in every respect. We asked for the rob plate, a delicious baby back selection and a shrimp stir fry that left us totally satiated. We had no room for dessert. Definitely recommended"

"Very decent place to eat in an area with not a lot of choices.. This location has had many different names over the years..this spot deserves to make it. our waitress Brittney was very good....explaining things and being extremely prompt with everything. started with a bargain glass of pinot grigio($2.75 for my wife...I had a manhattan($9 which was fine. we shared a garlic knots appetizer($5 which was really delicious. wife had the lobster ravioli($19 ....she said it was very good with small chunks of lobster meat. I had the lasagna($16 .....perfect sized portion and very tasty. No Italian bread was offered(maybe because we had the garlic knots? ...and no salad comes with the meal. so..if I had one complaint here..i'd say the meal is pricey. for dessert..we split a delicious tiramisu. things taste home made here...no cookie cutter olive garden food here. one minor quibble..our hotel offered a 10% off coupon for Nonni's. turns out its for one entrée only..so we saved a whopping $1.90 on like a $60 bill!! seemed insulting. nonni's is attractive and seems well run. overall..we enjoyed!"
