"I've been going to this store for over a year. The guys that ran the store until recently- Ali, Ralphy, Naseem and Abraham- had excellent customer service skills and knew how to keep up with the crowd and the neighborhood. If anything was ever wrong with the food, they would try to resolve the issue promptly.Depending on which cook is there, you'll either have a disaster of an order or a delicious one that will have you coming back.Recently, it has been a very different situation. The store is under new management. I do not see any of the familiar faces from before. The prices are INFLATED. They make up arbitrary prices on the spot.They tried to charge $5 for a gallon of water! My reg breakfast sandwich is all of a sudden $5 when I usually pay $3.50 (anywhere I go in NYC, including here before new management). They have increased the minimum order for delivery which has many neighborhood residents incensed.I used to go to this store at least once a day.Now I barely make it once a few times a month.If I need anything from the grocery store, I go to the one that is across the street from this one, on the corner. While they may not have a nice set up, their prices are always fair and they try to be nice. (As of July 2022, this store has burned now and is rebuilding)."
