"First things first, it's BYOB, which is great and keeps the cost down. It's not so great if you forget this. Having prefaced my review such, this is an interesting neighborhood gem, for sure. if you like Cuban food already, then you won't be disappointed in any way with the cuisine. It's tasty. We had two entrees: the snapper and pork with rice and black beans. Both were outstanding, with large but not crazy portions. The service was very good, the hostess was a buzzing bee working hard to keep everyone seated and ensured the trains ran on time. The waitress we had was charming and very knowledgeable about the food. With regard to the ambiance, it's important to take a good look at the photo of the restaurant. It's a free-standing, unremarkable small structure. It is small inside and by 7 it was full. Nonetheless, it's clean and enjoyable. This is a casual restaurant for sure. At least two gentlemen declined to remove their baseball caps while they dined."
