"Was craving Ecuadorian style ceviche and was looking for a place since I was already in Queens. I found La Morenita Ecuatoriana and decided to give it a try. I ordered ceviche de cameron with white rice and avocado to go. The cashier girl was very nice. She told me to have a seat and that it will take approximately 15 mins. I ate my order in the car. The ceviche was decent at best. You can tell that they blended the shrimp skins but didn't strain it because it was grainy. The color was bright orange also (I'm guessing from the orange juice they put in it). It did have a lot of shrimp in it but not enough onions and no cilantro or tomatoes and peppers. I guess every region of Ecuador makes it different. To me it was ok. Might not order it again but I would try this restaurant out for its other courses that they serve. Will keep you guys posted."

"I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The salmon was extremely overcooked and dry. The price I paid for this meal was not worth it and I was left feeling disgusted. I remember having the same meal a month ago and it was much better, probably because they were closing at that time. It seems like the best time to go to this restaurant is when they are about to close. During busy hours, the food seems rushed and lacks flavor."
