"Wow! It seems like they're really capitalizing on the post-COVID landscape to raise their prices. I had to change my order because the prices were shockingly high. This could be due to the new minimum wage that employers have to pay, but it feels like Amato has decided to pass all those costs onto the customers. I actually really enjoy their sandwiches and have been a fan since they were only on Saratoga Ave. I even supported the brief SJSU location at the original Togo’s spot and wore a shirt promoting it. However, after this experience, I’m feeling like this might be my last visit. I just can't justify the cost anymore. Thank you—I've been a loyal customer, but it seems like Amato is adjusting its prices based on the current market. I guess that's the way things are in San Jose now! It seems they enjoy their newfound wealth and customer base."
