"Sometimes I'll try an old American fast food chain just to see what's going on. This McDonald's in Castro Valley, was quite exactly like all the other mcdonald's, that is, the dream of his founder Roy Kroc, and that the Hamburger, Pommes and Coke tasted just like the Hamburger, Fries and Koks, which I bought 10 years ago on the east coast. Generic, predictable, yet satisfying. My waist will pay the price later."

"This is only 4 stars due to the amazingly kind female employee who works the drive thru window and front counter afternoons. I'm on a non existent budget and when I come in, it doesn't matter if I'm using a free French fry code and ordering a large water, she treats us like gold. We're going though hard times and her kindness has made our day more than once. The minus one star is for what I think is the middle aged man who appears to be an assistant manager and his foul attitude and treatment of the homeless."

"What to say here is McDonalds. The same as any other McDonald's has and will always be. That's it, they want you to know that you get the same Big Mac as you would have been one of the McDonald's in your life. Cheap, unhealthy, but some delicious food. Service up to 4 stars"

"I always get quarter pounders with just meat, cheese, and bread for my dogs occasionally as a special treat. They looked perfect and the meat was very juicy. My dogs absolutely loved it and you can't beat the price. I also ordered a plain Sunday and coffee. The coffee was surprisingly good, much better than the coffee at Philz or Starbucks near my house. I like to drink it black with a touch of Stevia to sweeten it. It was delicious and only cost 80 cents."

"The Big Mac was exquisite, of a calibur above that fitting for a mortal, but alas I was graced with the good fortune of this holiest of burgers prepared to absolute perfection. Did I mention the fries?? I'll never forget about the fries, crispy, krunchy, oh so yummy warm in my tummy. Then alas it didn't end there.. This was a 3 course feast. A Grande Cola of Coke iced to perfection with a hint of lime.. who put the lime in the? I went with no expectations, I left.. speechless. 5/5 stars 10/5 if I could. Absolutely breathtaking 3 course meal. Magnificent"

"Several weeks ago went to McDonald's drive-thru ordered a copy got to the window to pay I asked if I could order a small fry was told to go back in line through the drive-thru and placed the order that was her new policy kind of find out I got corporate headquarters got a call from them the following day this is in Salinas Al branch kind enough to tell me what the procedures were was lied to by the person that was working at the window and was taking care of by the headquarters so for that I give him five stars you get address the problem and then tell me straight out without trying to hide anything that it was uncalled for took care of me and I appreciate it"
