"To start, our server Katie was great. The ambience is quite nice with a large patio that overlooks Alamitos Bay. Overall the food quality was good. What was a bit disappointing was the lack of certain menu items. Specifically, the pizza was not available as their oven was broken. Unfortunately, in addition to that there was no Porchetta that evening. Finally, after ordering three orders of their house rolls, we were told only two were available. Now I understand at times restaurant will run out of certain items; it seemed a bit odd that a restaurant that serves late would be out before 9 o’clock. Additionally, it would have been nice to be told that things were not available before actually ordering them and then being told after the fact. We have been to a Mina restaurant before and did expect more."
