"We ate here the first night of our trip, and no other dinner came close the rest of the week. My blackened snapper was delicious, but I really loved my husband's stuffed shrimp. Server wasn't really friendly, but was at least pleasant. This will be a must stop on our next trip!"

"We ordered here for a while, it was great first....now the food quality is terrible. You simply throw dishes with no love or thought, it is sloppy and if you want cold meatballs and sauce, this is the place now. The lasagna is now shorter than the chicken parm and the part is not present nearby. Especially to load the amount they do is not ok and a demolition. We are looking for a new Italian place, not calculating someone near $70 for 2 dishes and a cheesecake. It's not a nice place to eat.... I hope they can get it back."

"The outside seats were plentiful on a Tuesday night, but the beer selection was nothing to be bashed against. Karaoke was funny because there were some characters, but food was not amazing. Fries were floppy and cold, but we think this is because mushrooms were placed in another person into the party dish and it was caught before serving, which was the saving grace to get 3 instead of 2 stars. Waitress was friendly!!"

"I used to live down the block from this place and have walked past hundreds of times but never went in. It's always packed so I knew it must be good. Finally my friend and I stopped in and WOW it was fantastic! They had a brunch special going on $13 for the buffet. The selection was large and lots of variety. We tried a bit of everything and went back for more. I would have had a third plate if my stomach was bigger. The flavors were fantastic and everything was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent as well. Everyone who worked there was so attentive and friendly. Love the carafe of water with mint and cucumber on the table. Go eat here you will not be disappointed."

"My lady and I go for breakfast or lunch Sundays after attending our church in Mt. Airy. When the service let out we went on Yelp to help us decide on where to go. We both swore a Yelp review said the Mt. Airy Tavern was a good place for late breakfast or brunch. Turns out they offer neither. You can read the details below or just take my word that this place really under-delivers. Perhaps the reviews referencing indifferent attitude are correct? I would say management needs to take a look at the culture they have created. But the restaurant was beautifully decorated (it is a month before Christmas), has the feel of a class act, so we figured we would stay and have lunch. I ordered a french onion soup to start, and she a club sandwich, with a side of fries, and me the pulled Bar-B-Que sandwich. Some coffee and water. Then things went south! The soup was not hot upon arrival, just barely warm; the cheese on top was not yet melted. Similar with the coffee...barely warm. When the waitress stopped by to check on us I informed her that both the coffee and the soup were too cold to be enjoyable. She was kind enough to refill the coffee with hot java. The soup however was just taken away, with no offer to reheat or make amends in any way. IMHO that was $7.50 tax and tip thrown in the garbage. Entree arrived, the club sandwich was very good. The fries, an upgrade from chips, were mediocre: dark looking but not crispy. My BBQ sandwich had a great bun, great pickle, and good coleslaw; the house made pulled pork had both the taste and texture of the ready made stuff from a grocery store. The waitress did make sure it was hot however. We split carrot cake for desert, and that was very good."

"If you are looking for junky full of sugar or additives, this isn?t the place for you! If you are looking for fresh, wholesome, healthy but flavorful food?.this is it! Passed by this place for months not knowing what it was. I saw it on one of the food delivery sites one day and they were offering free delivery so I decided to try it. I?ve been a regular customer ever since. The Peri Peri sauce gives whatever item you choose the perfect flavor and kick. The food is always perfectly prepared?.even the veggies that are never undercooked or over cooked. The portion sizes are well worth the price you pay. Yes the smoothies are a little high; however the quality and price of the fruit and veggies in them warrants it. I?ve had several different flavors and never any issues with the consistency like someone noted. Also, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you?ve visited a place many times and loved it and never left a positive review but have one negative experience and post a bad review, that says more about you than the establishment. I am positive that their are mishaps and mess ups in your own kitchen from time to time too. Employees are human and error is going to occur. If it?s a pattern that?s one thing but if it?s an isolated incident?.come on! Fortunately I?ve eaten here dozens of times and never had a bad experience at all!"

"Well, I don 't usually eat Hawaiian BBQ, but I wanted to give Ohana Hawaiian BBQ another try after my fair experience at another location. So I was in the area of Alameda 's Nobhill Shopping Center, and decided to get takeout from the Ohana place there. I was there during the most ideal time.....just before lunch. Oh yes, that special time when everything is fresh and well stocked. Usually the best people are working. I got the Chicken Combo, with 2 scoops of Mac salad, and 1 rice.How was it? It was very goodThe Chicken Combo was listed as 1/2 Chicken Katsu and 1/2 BBQ Chicken. Well, that 's not what I got, but I 'm not complaining. I got served 2/3 chicken katsu and 1/3 BBQ Chicken. That boneless fried chicken was hot, moist, and very crispy. OMG, it was good! They put a big slab of Katsu on top of the Mac Salad. The BBQ Chicken was okay. Good flavor, not salty. Hot, but a little dry. I think that 's why they served me more chicken katsu. The Macaroni salad had good flavor, and tasted as it should. The white rice was just clumps, not fluffy and not steaming hot.Hmm, I think I 'm addicted to that crispy chicken katsu. Next time, I 'm just ordering that.
