"Now, on to the negatives. Many restaurants deal with ambient noise due to cement floors and high ceilings, and Babes is no exception. What really detracts from the experience, though, is the decision by the management at Babes in North Richland Hills to blast loud country music, mixed with intervals of the Hokey Pokey, where employees perform for entertainment. This creates an unbearable noise level.
In summary, Babes has really missed the mark. I visited expecting a nice meal and some quality time with friends, and while the service was good, my dining experience was ruined by the overwhelming noise. As someone who works in finance, I foresee a significant downturn in profitability for Babes due to management's lack of experience and their failure to provide a pleasant dining atmosphere. This could stem from a founder's mentality or the ineptitude of the second-generation management. Whatever the reason, the long-term outlook for Babes doesn’t look promising.
My suggestion is simple: If it isn't broken, don’t fix it! The Roanoke location has mastered this balance—while it can be a little noisy, they offer great food, excellent service, and an overall enjoyable dining experience."
