"I had called Park Tavern a handful of times to make a reservation as I heard they had opened back up. I have family in town and thought it would be fun to take them to an old favorite. The number they have listed just brings you straight to a voicemail telling you to book through open table each time so that is what I did. I had a reservation for 5 people last night at 6pm confirmed. We arrived at 6pm to see a dark, dingy, very NOT open restaurant with paper taped to the door saying they are closed and to go to one of their other restaurants. So thanks to a false booking I had 5 hungry out-of-towners stuck at 6pm on a Friday at north beach with no dinner reservations. Beyond frustrating. If they have re-opened they clearly have not gotten it together yet."
