"Visited this restaurant for the first time with no expectations. They were exceeded. I am a huge barbecue enjoyer, and make frequent trips to Kansas City for barbecue (among other things). I got the 2 meat meal with brisket and hot links. Also got Macn cheese and mashed taters. The food was above adequate, although it could have been a bit warmer. The service and atmospherewere both exceptional, which makes this a great place to take the family. The service was great. As soon as I finished my orderand filled my drink, the food was already done! As soon as I sat down my brisket n taters came faster than a . Staff was also very friendly. I came to Hog Wild simply because I was hungry, but I left a different person. The food wasmediocre as far a BBQ goes, but the children?s birthday party next to my table made me feel like I had a real family for thefirst time in my life. Also the Mac and cheese was kinda cold. Might visit, but not the best barbecue in town. Expect to spend$7-20 dollars per person."
