"I've eaten in the old Hickory house since I was 12 years old on Piedmont Rd. (1956). It is the place where I can compare all other BBQ restaurants. I still eat there that it is a 70-mile journey to do this."

"Great funny service with excellent food. Pumpkin pie was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed a slice before my meal. Pancakes had crispy edges just how I like them. Steak was tender, eggs were fresh, and hash browns were golden. Enjoyed the talk of the locals. Not bad for the only restaurant in town."
