"There aren’t many decent buffets in the area. After moving back to Fort Smith, I was surprised that Western Sizzlin had went down hill and Catfish Cove was out of business. Golden Corral always has a pretty good selection… fresh items on the salad bar, several dessert option, rolls are almost always great, the roast is one of my sons’ favorites, pizza isn’t bad, and there’s always numerous options from mashed potatoes, green veggies, baked potatoes with all the fixings, usually some sort of meat being carved to order, etc. The place usually needs to keep up with cleaning the tables, floors, and bathrooms a little better, but I know that’s a little tough to keep pristine when so many customers are in and out all day. You can always ask your server for a cup of coffee if that’s something you want. Overall, we’ll be back occasionally. Lunch definitely seems to be the better bang for your buck. Military discount is offered… it’s not much (maybe 5% or so), but better than nothing. Either way, we’ll be back. Not somewhere we want to go every week, but once a month or so we usually feel like going."
