"Our Lake Wales buddies seem to have scoured the area for places to take us. This one is on Hwy 27 in the Haines City locale – US27 is quite a long road – you can go pretty much from Clermont area all the way to Sebring and keep on finding “spots.” This is a nice place, good parking – we were greeted and seated in swift pleasant fashion. Not a fancy place, but nice overall. I’ve a habit of trying to read about places before we go – on this one, I found a website that said it is “Mexican cuisine” (NOT) — but when clicked on “menu” it was Spaghetti/Italian – confusing! This is ‘home style cooking’ – just means don’t believe everything you read. It’s good stuff – and I’m glad we ignored some of the reviews we saw! Everyone has to make their own decision. This was a good choice. We came for the breakfast special, but hope to get back another time for the “AYCE” fried chicken (Tuesdays) or other buffet style special nights."
