"We are from the UK and drove route 66. We were recommended Mel's drive in by Laura from the Santa Monica Motel, which turned out to be a great recommendation. It is an authentic American Diner, with a route 66 twist to it. The place was spotless, the service was good and the food was hot and plentiful. What more can you ask for? Oh yes a retro juke box and they have one of those too LOL!"

"I didn't know this place existed. I'm glad it does. I feel like it's a better breakfast/lunch place then the other places in Bountiful like it. It's a bit tricky to find because they don't have a sign up yet. It's a truck stop so in the middle of some industrial buildings. Huge portions. Great price. Good food. We had lunch but are excited to go back and try breakfast. The burger with the egg added was pretty yummy. As was the Philly Cheesesteak. I don't love cream cheese and it has quite a bit mixed in it but I still thought it was good. My husband really liked it and he hates onions. Surprisingly he wasn't bothered that there were onions because the flavor was good. Go check them out. Totally worth a try."
