"Nice ambience and beautifully plated dishes but unfortunately the most recent time we visited one of our entrees came out with the potatoes totally cold. We’re usually not the type to say anything when order seems off but decided to mention it to the server hoping the kitchen could just heat up the potatoes as they were a completely different temperature from the rest of the dish. When the dish was brought back it had clearly just been put under a heat lamp, which had wilted all of the food on top that was warm to begin with (e.g. the crispy chickpeas had become soggy which we were super bummed about). Meanwhile the potatoes at the bottom were still totally cold. When we mentioned it to the server hoping they might replace it with a properly prepared version she insisted the food had been sautéed to be reheated but it clearly hadn’t because the food at the bottom was still totally cold while the top had been wilted. It was bizarre to us that the waiter was arguing about the method of heating since the point was that they had reheated ruined the top of the dish while leaving the bottom cold. They did end up comping us the meal which we appreciated but we both felt pretty uncomfortable and like we were doing something wrong by simply politely asking if the potatoes could be heated. We would have super appreciated if they had just offered to remake the dish after it was ruined the second time they brought it out and the whole thing could’ve been resolved easily. Overall the experience of being served cold food twice the fact that the rest of the dish was ruined that second time the server being annoyed leaving the restaurant hungry made it a pretty unpleasant experience so we won’t be going back."
