"I really wanted to like this place and give them grace. With a wife working in the restaurant business during the pandemic I get the challenges associated with being short staffed. And I should have read the other 200+ reviews on Yelp before visiting. I came in with a plan to work on my computer while waiting for my son at swim practice. I planned to order the nachos and the special Tuesday $5 margarita. I walked in (feeling something strange) and waited/wandered around for about 10 minutes trying to find a host. I finally stopped the only server I could see and asked her for a seat. She told me that I could sit anywhere. That's when I realized what was strange: I couldn't easily find a table because there were 8 tables sections completed covered with used dishes and old food. Obviously people had left but because of the way the tables were organized I only had three tables to choose from inside and four outside. I found a spot and then had to wait nearly 15 more minutes until the server came. I even had to go get my own menu from the hostess area (but no host was there). That was also when I realized there was only one server. When she finally arrived with complementary chips and salsa. I told her I wanted the nachos and the $5 margarita. I specifically asked if the $5 were running this Tuesday and she told me yes. The chips I realized had been sitting in an alcove in the back they were cold and soggy like they get when there's too much oil and they cool off. I ate a couple then stopped because I knew I was getting nachos. When the nachos came after one bite I realize the same old chips were used. I had to grab the server and apologized for the inconvenience but asked for another plate of nachos with new chips because they were cold and soggy. She told me they couldn't only that they could add more cheese and beans. I also asked for the wireless password and what she told me didn't work but I just gave up on that. When I finally asked for the bill I saw that I'd been charged for a large margarita and asked her to change it. She said it was because I ordered the large. She told me the $5 one was the smaller one. I asked her if she remembered me asking for the $5 one to which she said yes and then said sorry and didn't change it. I've been to the Casa in Orland Park and had extremely different/great experiences. This location in Hinsdale was extremely disappointing. When I left three more tables were left unattended and mine, I imagine, made 4. A person had came out to bus a table but left the bin at the table and walked away. I give two stars and a 20% tip only because I have sympathy for the 3 person staff and everyone has bills to pay, but I won't come back again."

"The staff was so nice and friendly, the pommes were fresh and the tea was brewed for perfection. Not many chicken decisions, but it is primarily a burger connection. The fried chicken sandwich is near the Chick-fil-a, but... just a short second, brave attempt of a duplicate. I miss eating beef, Hardee has excellent burgers, but with alpha allergies it is no choice anymore."

"I love their breakfast platter and frequently stop to pick up one. This morning the lady at the drive thru was nice enough to start, but when I reminded her that she had my debit card and could I get it back, she copped an attitude. Said she was busy. "I enjoy the grilled hamburgers. The burgers are thick and juicy. You remember Burger King. They also offer other different hot sandwiches, such as ham, roast beef and chicken. The restaurant dining area is clean and plentiful. The remaining rooms were also clean. Service was fast and pleasant. The food was taken to my table when it was ready. For additional comfort there is also a drive thru. The parking lot is large with many regular and disabled places. I'm definitely back."

"that is the place to go if they want a COLD burglar. I'm here several times and their burgers seem to be cold. I came there and got a cold burger. So I will return them to them. the cashier told me it was hot when she gave it to me, I told myself yes, the bungalow was warm, but the burger was so cold that the cheese had not even melted but I had only walked to my car on the parking lot and wanted to eat in the car. So the casser said to the layer leader and she said she would do it herself. when she returned, she didn't even apologize for eating cold. she just gave me how, whatever the other date I came back thinking it was different. I ordered another burger and it was the same as last time, warm colorful cold meat. I didn't even annoy to give it back. I ate it anyway for me in the lunch break with limited time."

"Chicken strip are the best. Always great service. That was a previous visit. This visit food was not worth eating. Chicken strips half done the other half so hard you wouldn't eat them. "The breakfast chicken biscuit was great. The men 's bathroom was very dirty. The paper towel dispenser was empty and the electric hand dryer didn 't work. When I mentioned no towels, one staff member told the other, I put some in yesterday. That was yesterday. My order was to go; I didn 't look around the rest of the restaurant."

"We’ve made a friend and we were both very hungry. Hardee’s was the next stop for a burger. Even though it was lunchtime, there were plenty of parking spots available. I love this place because it has the inviting aroma of a chef grilling in the backyard. They took our order and brought our food to the table in just a few minutes. A thicker burger really hits the spot when you’re starving. I forgot just how delicious it was! Now we’re full and completely satisfied."

"We found plastic packaging in our burgers, which was quite alarming. My partner even ended up with plastic in his meal. While we waited for 25 minutes for our food, the staff seemed to be overwhelmed and uncoordinated. When a customer spilled food and drinks everywhere, it took over five minutes for anyone to come and clean it up, and there was no sign of regret from the employees. This was our first visit to Hardee's, and it will definitely be our last."

"I am disappointed with the customer service this last visit. I could clearly hear my order being mocked from the drive thru by one of the associates. The monitor that is supposed to show the prices has been broken for months. My family I still like the food (only reason they are getting 4 stars), but this experience was not ideal. Being mocked made me feel pretty upset."
