"the first time for us in haute south and it was great! our server was incredible-knowing, personal, patient with us newbies, and made great recommendations. the grilled oysters she recommended were the best I had (I prefer normally raw) and these honey biscuits were life changes. they also try the Margarita flight. overall an excellent experience."

"I'll just start off with saying I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Between my father and I we order 1lb of burnt ends, Mac and cheese, cornbread, fries and coleslaw. "We came here and my husband discovered a big bug (roach? on his plate under his napkin. The staff were also startled and didn’t do much or compensate us after the experience. We were very startled and needless to say are hesitant to go back, though I imagine this was a rare occurrence. Generally, a lovely place—the chicken, yogurt sauce, salad and sweet potatoes are particularly good."
