"I had an appointment in Voorhees on a Friday evening and searched for nearby restaurants I could stop at for dinner. Pho Voorhees caught my eye as I can always eat pho. My girlfriend met me a little after 5 for an early dinner. It's located in a strip mall with lots of available parking. We were the only ones there for a little bit before a handful of other families arrived. The restaurant was big inside with lots of seating and it was very clean. A waitress was with us as soon as we walked in to take our drink orders and was back quickly after to take our dinner order. This was our first time here and my girlfriend's first time trying pho or any kind of Vietnamese noodle soup. We started with pork Spring Rolls which came out very quickly and very hot. They were delicious, fried perfectly, and served with what I believe was a light, refreshing fish sauce vinaigrette. We also ordered beef fried rice which was just as enjoyable as the spring rolls and exactly how I envision my ideal fried rice to be cooked, consistency and taste. The beef was so tender. With all that being said, the soup was definitely my favorite part of our dinner. I did the create your own soup. You are able to choose the type of noodles (rice or egg), the type of broth (chicken, beef, or vegetable), and then up to 3 of the following (vegetables, tofu, chicken, meatball, brisket, flank, eye round, tripe, tendon, fishball). I went with rice noodles, beef broth, vegetables, brisket, and eye round steak. The soup came out hot, the broth was delicious, all of the ingredients tasted fresh, and portion sizes were generous. My girlfriend chose the egg noodle wonton soup which came with pork and shrimp wontons, egg noodles, and bok choy. She really loved it and said she would 100% go back again.Of course we had leftovers. The server brought us a take home container for the leftover rice and a to-go soup container for the rest of her soup. Our experience here was great. I probably wouldn't have found Pho Voorhees if it weren't for my appointment but I'm so glad I did. I will definitely be back again with my mom who loves the idea of creating your own noodle soup."
