"The food was good, but the real story here is the guy who works at the new Ankeny position. I am not sure what his title is, but he seems the manager / boss / cashier / waiter. Only an absolute jack of all trades. You have to wait a little for dinner, but it's understandable. They are open late 6 days a week to 2 a.m. in most nights. Good food, highly recommended!"

"I go here when I’m craving street tacos in Waukee because we don’t have any taco trucks : It’s sufficient. But, I wish they’d let us order street tacos on their app. They have an online ordering system but it does not list street tacos? Very odd. To work around this issue, we always end up having to drive over to order, it’s a bit inconvenient as lines can get a bit long. But worth it for the occasional street taco craving.I like that they have a sauce station with so many varieties of sauces and toppings."

"I ordered the chile relleno plate and it was delicious. it came with two chile rellenos, rice and buoy with their choice of flour or mais tortillas. I chose the flour and they give them two Burrito size tortillas that look homemade and taste. I really eaten Mexican food and I have made a good choice by ordering here. I'm going back to the finals."

"The meal exceeded my expectations. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. However, the enchilada and burrito I ordered had too much tomato and paprika and lacked protein and cheese. It wasn't my favorite dish, but it wasn't terrible either. It would be helpful to have more detailed descriptions on the menu. The service was good, with a friendly server. The restaurant is open 24 hours, which is convenient. I plan to try other items on the menu soon."

"My friend today wanted some fast Mexican food today. And he took me here even though I already had a bad feeling about this idea. Next the lady couldn’t speak any English and had a mustache! Another bad warning sign flipped on in my head! We got are food which looked like slop I wouldn’t even feed my dog!! Worst of all we still ate it! A few hours later my stomach didn’t feel so hot. My friend also had the same experience ! Haven’t felt so this bad in awhile. So next time you want fast Mexican food I would not even think about this place nor any fast Mexican food again for that matter!!"

"we had the taco and 20. Taco Enchilada and the California Burrito. Its homestyle mexican food so nuff said. the flavors were on point and just perfect. i would have preferred chicken enchilada over cheese but otherwise my meal was great. the portions were massive. only complaint i would have is that both salsas while exceedingly hot were very bland, but that seems to be the style out here in the southwest"
