"Like an old supper club. You walk in and are greeted by a large podium. Specials were Prime Rib and Crab Legs....separate dishes. Live piano playing which adds to ambiance for good or ill. They have a salad bar, which is ok and has soup on it. Portions seem plentiful. there is a bar separate from the dining room so if that is your taste one can go in there. Place was crowded but got reservation right away. It is a popular place."

"Absolutely beautiful place! This restaurant is nicely clean. Perfect for a fine dinning experience for lunch or dinner. The staff is very professional and friendly. A very quiet environment. And the food is phenomenal, all they have/serve us delicious. I recommend the Penne vodka w/chicken for lunch / dinner. And her tasteful and fresh Margarita pizza as an app. Of course, it's an expensive place, but worth every penny. I love my expensive taste in exchange for good quality. What you will find here!!! A must!"

"Our server was great and friendly. He did mess up some drink orders, but with a group of 9 it’s expected. Food was great, sushi, pizza, burgers, we all loved it. It was super dead inside, which is suprising for a Friday night, but a nice place."

"So so so amazing and yummy. We chose the patio! Where fresh herbs were growing next to us. The food was all so great the butter was .... you just have to try it look at the pics. The elk was to die for. I loved the cute decor and humor. The ladies restroom was stocked with Bobby pins, feminine products, hairspray ect.... so so cute! I'm so proud of my friend Leah and her creations!"

"The dishes prepared by the chef were fantastic and complemented the wine beautifully. However, the dessert left much to be desired; it was truly disappointing. It felt as though it wasn't made by the chef, as it contrasted sharply with the other dishes—almost as if it were store-bought. On a positive note, the wine was quite good. Unfortunately, the dessert cocktail tasted heavily of grain alcohol."

"the location was excellent. many parking places, comfortable atmosphere (although I would not say romantic). the service was excellent from the minute they went where they were greeted with a friendly reception and were immediately on time to eat service. the personal was warm and attentive, without being overlaid in any way. also the chef was not disappointed. our meals made our pallets happy and satisfied and we would definitely return."

"Tried this place for 1st from a friends recommendation. Let me just get this out if the way now. It's worth coming here just for the cake, O MY is all I have to say. Onto the food, I was very flavorful. The appetizer spinach and artichoke and the bread was savory. The grilled chicken with mushrooms and onions and peppers was cooked perfectly. The house salad was a little bit better than most places. Fried chicken sandwich was crispy and moist. The only downful was the cost. Seemed very pricey for what you got. The waitress was very attentive. The restaurant was clean."

"We had a reservation for 7:15 and we were seated promptly. I ordered the Grapefruit Martini and my partner ordered a the Santo Margarita and they were delicious. Our server was kind and was quick to check in on us. Unfortunately, the majority of our food was inedible. I ordered the lobster risotto and the lobster was so tough that it was incredibly hard to chew and had little flavor. My partner ordered the 16oz New York Strip and a side of the brussel sprouts. Their steak was ordered medium rare but when it arrived it was well done, zero pink inside of that cut of meat. They also ran out of brussel sprouts so they side they gave us was very little sprouts in it and was mostly burnt pieces and the bacon its cooked in. We told our server and she was quick to get a manager who then removed the brussel sprouts and brought me out a slice of salmon to eat since I couldn't eat the lobster the salmon was very good. She also took off around $50 of our bill and gave us free desserts which we enjoyed. However, I can't justify spending as much as we did on our dinner for it not to be cooked well, especially an almost $50 steak."

"Our experience with Rue de Jean was a pleasant one. Our service was outstanding. The scallop pasta dish was absolutely delicious. We ordered a steak and unfortunately it came out charred on one side but the manager was very quick to take it off of our bill. Wine selection was excellent and the wine we had was fantastic. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be back"

"We had a 7:30 reservation, we arrived at 7:24 and we were ask to go wait in bar because the restaurant can only seat 10 tables at a time. Even though they were not busy. We asked if we could sit at our table and cocktails there. After a 10 minute discussion with Mansger we were seated. Wait staff was very attentive although she forgot 2 requests. Tasting menu was delicious. Table side Old Fashioned drinks a huge plus. All in all a nice dining experience but not one for these prices) a fantastic experience."

"A splendid summer evening dinner at the Hyde Park. Our first visit. Christopher made us feel welcome as did all the staff we encountered. We started with an appetizer of calamari. Very light breading on the large rings. Not the usual tiny extra crispy ones you might have ordered at other restaurants. They were combined with veggies in a slightly spicy sauce. Wonderful! We split a steakhouse chopped salad which was tasty. My wife ordered the petite filet simply grilled and I ordered a larger Cabernet filet. Both were cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth delicious. Our side choices were the sautéed spinach and mushrooms and whipped potato’s. Both good. We were pleasantly surprised that there were a lot of mushrooms in the dish. We expected more spinach. Parking is easy in the lot. We spent $150 but didn’t get any drinks. We’ll be back."

"This is a romantic spot with fantastic food. The new take on classics works well...for example the Bibb salad with pistachios and parmesan. Absolutely fabulous. There is a large selection of oysters which allows sampling of different types. (We liked the AL oysters). Our mains of mahi and crawfish linguini were lovely, the apple tart is divine. Nice wines, helpful and pleasant service. Timing between courses is longer than at many spots, but that does allow one to enjoy a meal instead of rushing through. Quite a lovely restaurant."
