"We had a reservation, and there were open tables, but we were informed that due to the manager's policies, we couldn't be seated right away because the kitchen was slow. We waited for 20 minutes. The waitress mentioned it would take at least 30 minutes for our food to arrive, even before she finished greeting us. She disappeared halfway through our order and didn't return for another 10 minutes. The food was just okay, but honestly, it wasn't worth the wait."

"The beans and rice are delicious at this restaurant! The potatoes are also very good. They attempt to be creative with their tofu in the entrees, but unfortunately it turns out a bit bland. However, there are plenty of other options on the menu. I returned two years later and found even more choices, including the option to build my own breakfast burrito with soy chorizo, eggs, and beans. It was so delicious that I even tried it "mojado style" with enchilada sauce. Overall, a great experience with updated and expanded menu options."

"It's an old school spot that's been around over 30 years; a Hyde Park icon. Went on a last minute date; getting a table was quick. I had the roasted chicken and potatoes. The chicken was definitely dry. I had a large strawberry margarita that was more sweet than alcoholic"

"STOP and EAT here if you are looking for breakfast or lunch while driving on I-94 west of Kalamazoo. I had the best omelet ever, backed full of meat with excellent hash browns and a huge pancake for just $7 !! My wife said here chicken wrap might be the best she has ever had. You can tell that all the locals eat here, and for good reason. Just 1 mile north of the highway. Prices were so modest and food so good I left a 50% tip. (Chicago would cost 3 times more. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the super friendly service."

"The service was terrible. I called because it had been more than an hour since my food had not arrived and the woman who answered was very rude and in the end her excuse was that they were very busy. On top of that, the pizza was raw and very cold. It wasn't worth ordering here. I do not recommend it. I wanted to give it another chance but unfortunately everything was terrible."

"I took my daughter and my grandson there to the breakfast buffet as we've been doing for a few months, and I have to say it was terrible. the pancakes were very dark on a side and hard the French toast was hard the stir were very dry and the sausage was not fresh at all, we had to wait a long time for speck. I'm not bringing her back. if you spend $45. at breakfast they expect it to be good."

"This was a pretty great breakfast! Only 4 stars because the dining room is a bit cramped for space, and the booths are not comfy at all to me. Very hard and not roomy, my bad back and hips did not appreciate it. I'm definitely willing to go back again if I'm in the area for breakfast, but will wait for a table rather than booth. The food was top notch, and 3 of us ate until we were full for under $30, which was impressive. The place was packed, which tells me the food is consistently as good as it was today."
