"Got an adobada burrito. Yummy. Adobada pork, cabbage, pico de gallo, and cheese. Put a little red sauce and onion/cilantro on and you are tasting a bit of heaven. I also like their passole. It is better than I would expect for fastfood soup. It comes with all the trimmings as well: cabbage, pico and raddishes. One of my normal favorites is the Texas burrito. Chicken, potatoes, sour cream and cheese. Every filibertos makes their chicken a little different. If they dont cook the chicken in red sauce, I tell them to add red sauce. If they do cook it in red sauce, having them add red sauce is too drippy. Most of the time I ask for extra cheese. The 5 rolled tacos with chese and guac is a great fall back when Im not sure what I want. Poor on some red sauce and you are set. Be sure to get a spoon to help glide any runaway guac back onto the taquito. Salsa bar at filibees is something that you should take your time to get the most of. If they have cut cucumbers on the bar, get a baggy, add your cucumbers into the bag, squeeze a couple lemon slices over them, add salt, close the bag and shake. If you feel adventurous add some red sauce. If I stop for breakfast, I get plenty and nibble on them through the day. If you do, dont add the red sauce. Some filibertos have complimentary corn chips. So I put the chips in the paper trough as well as the salsa in a seperate one. I like lots of sauce on my food, so grab a spoon to ladle on the sauce from your trough. Taco Tuesday is fun. Again lots of sauce. Ask them to put it in a togo container. Then as you eat and the lettuce and cheese fall back into the container you carefully push that aside. That way when you finish your tacos, you just add a little sauce to your lettuce and cheese for the taco salad agyer party. Works best in the togo container.
