"I was born and raised in Hawaii and has lived there for about 8 years. I think I'm quite critical in places that serve Hawaii Plate Lunch (NOT the same as authentic Hawaiian Food) as I think most people from Hawaii would be. Even in Hawaii, I'm picky where I want a dinner. I need to try Aloha Hawaiian BBQ. Before I looked over the menu and was fascinated as they have a nice selection of plates that you would see in Hawaii, unlike some of these Hawaiian chains you see appearing everywhere Bro! I have to taste the spicy grilled chicken, calbi, fried fish, Kalua pig and lumps. Everything was so delicious, the Kalua was on the point as well as you can get at Highway Inn, Young 's or Yama 's. The spicy pig reminded me of Gina's BBQ chicken. I don't drink juice, but they have a good selection of Aloha Maid drinks. I recommend that everyone who misses Hawaii Plate Lunch, or anyone interested in trying what is a real Hawaii Plate Lunch."
