"I was in Fort Lauderdale for some business and I wanted to have some breakfast before my flight out of Miami. The American Coffee Shop was on my way there, and it came highly rated per Google. The restaurant is in a small strip mall and a bit smaller than I expected. There weren't any issues on a day I visited as the restaurant was maybe 50% filled. Parking isn't a problem. I ordered their Traditional Egg Breakfast 2. I settled on two eggs, bacon, home fries and an English muffin. I chose a cafe con leche for my drink. The food was cooked to my liking. The potatoes were excellent, not over cooked, burnt or dry. I had never had a cafe con leche before, so I was also pleasantly surprised with its taste. I did add a small amount of sugar to it, but other than that it was good. The staff was pleasant, and I presume it was the owner that went to each patron to say hi and ask how their day was going. You don't see that too often, so it's a welcome change. I would re-visit if I'm ever back in the area."
