"I arrived at the restaurant at 10:50 AM, which was a bit early. An employee quickly rushed to the door and locked it, making strange gestures. I then decided to go through the drive-thru instead. At the window, the employee appeared frustrated because the driver had to reach behind him to retrieve the payment. He forcefully placed the sandwiches between the window and seemed annoyed as he handed them over. It was also odd that he had a non-employee with him when he locked the door. To top it off, he made quite a drama out of locking the window immediately after giving us the sandwiches. This was an hour before the drive-thru was set to close. Overall, I found this experience to be extremely unprofessional in terms of customer service."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a few issues. The sandwich was poorly prepared and shredded, though I'm not sure if the staff member was inexperienced. Additionally, there was no tea available at 4 PM, which was surprising since the place was nearly empty. Many of the tables were quite dirty, but we eventually found one that was clean enough to eat at. I'm looking forward to the new subway opening nearby."

"I order the simplest sandwiches from this restaurant about once a week. However, each time the staff fails to read the special instructions from the app. This should be a straightforward task, as we are just talking about sandwich making here. I had to request a refund and speak to the manager in order to rectify the situation. The response I received was always the same: "I didn't see the special instructions. Would you like the sauce on the side?" No, I simply want a fresh sandwich with all the requested ingredients. I even tried a different location of the same chain with the same disappointing results, as these two branches seem to share the same issues. Metro, please step up your game!"

"Got a breakfast flatbread the lady seemed just in a hurry to be rid of me and didnt even toast it even though it had cold eggs on it. I was still pretty tired and didnt realize they didnt ask if I wanted it toasted or just do it since it wasnt cold cuts. Then I had a question about the combo vs just the drink and wouldnt get a straight forward response and was rude. The fountain machine sprayed out soda on me. Asked for napkins because they only gave me one and got the stink eye. Just an overall unpleasant experience. I'm not someone who complains about every little thing but I was the only customer there, was nothing but polite, but was getting nothing but contemptuous vibes back."

"I usually don't leave reviews anywhere, but every single time I go to this store they get my order wrong, or there is a problem with something. This time they didn't disappoint me. I was the only person in the store ordering a sub and there is only one person working at the time. It took 21 minutes from the time of ordering to the time of getting the Sub. After getting my sub there were 5 people behind me in line. They didn't have all of the ingredients to a two ingredient sub they offer. I tried to substitute one sauce in place for another, but they were out of most sauces as well, and didn't have all of the food put out for their items on the menu. This was around lunch time. On other occasions the workers are usually fighting with each other about how hard they have to work or how many hours, which in most cases do not equal 40 hours a week anyway. They are not friendly with customers because of this, and I don't believe I have ever seen a manager working there helping reduce waiting times of customers. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone in the area. Go to any other Subway in Johnson City instead of this one. I have only went here because I work close. I try to give places a chance, but this place has something wrong with it every single time I go there. I will definitely go somewhere else from now on."
