"from the name dosa point we would be, although their dosa would be the best item on the menu. but dosa was terrible. the oil they used was rancid and smells bad. Dosa papers tested very different from what it should be, it was definitiw not the good taste. mysore dosa paste (which they apply to dosa) and kartoffelmasala had no taste at all. madras masala dosa was there no other, same disappointment. we were not even able to finish our dosa, it was so bad. sambhar was overly sweet, and tasted bland stale. Coconut Chutney had overwhelming cocos flavor as if they added some extract to spit on cocose flavor. the only thing good on the plate was red chutney. I don't know how this place has good reviews about dosa. we have many other places in bay area that serve big dosa. I would not recommend this place. do not go with reviews and spend their money somewhere else. in addition, they charge 15% service fee (what would have been good if their eating would be good)."
