"Still our go to for Mexican food in Simi Valley. We come here at least once per week for dinner. Friday and Saturday are still their busiest nights. I have been ordering a lot of shrimp dishes lately. The shrimp fajitas and shrimp burrito a la diabla. They use shrimp that are a nice size and it is a good portion. The chips and salsa are some of the best. The salsa is spicy! Service is still on par. Servers are friendly and helpful. Drinks are kept filled and chips and salsa never run low. We've been coming here for years, and we will continue to, probably every week, lol."

"We decided to try various appetizers this visit, including the Mexican pizza and bacon quesadilla, both of which were delicious. The service was great, with our server being attentive and the table cleaner also deserving of a little extra tip. Despite the higher prices typical for a Mexican restaurant, the quality of the food makes it worth it. The ambiance is quite dimly lit with a red hue, adding to the cozy atmosphere. Overall, a worthwhile dining experience, but be prepared to splurge a bit."

"I have always enjoyed going to Carlos O'Briens. Since they are no longer located at 12th Street and North, we decided to try out this new spot. They require masks, have tables socially distanced appropriately, and keep their public bathrooms open. Masks must be worn in the bathroom and at the table. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is very friendly. Our glasses were constantly refilled without having to ask. We will definitely be returning!"

"The food is normally good or ok, I normally enjoy the seafood soup but on my latest visit I tired the shrimp enchiladas, it was not bad but also was not anything to write home about. I will say the service was the most lacking thing about this meal, especially since we were never asked for refills or if we needed we just had wait with payment in hand until we were acknowledged."
