"The CHICKEN KEBAB was a delightful mix of chunks of grilled chicken breast, and grilled zucchini, summer squash and onions over a generous bed of surprisingly moist yellow rice, flavored with (just guessing ... , possibly saffron, maybe cardamom, maybe a hint of clove or fennel...? Very delicate! The chicken had a light drizzle of some kind of white sauce. Behind that whole mixture, was very finely shredded lettuce that was not limp, or dry, but while tossing it, it seemed to have some kind of a moisture profile, but I didnt see any puddling of a dressing. I thought maybe a very delicate very light, almost, but not quite sweet vinegar? To contrast with the fineness of this salad, on top of its fineness, were some rustically cut cucumbers, thin slices of green pepper and a pickled red cabbage, topped with a little Kalamata olive. Lots of nice crunch! It was a very fresh, and unique way of commingling all the different weights, textures, colors and flavors! I loved it! The Damascus Bread, was SO GOOD! Not heavy, about a 10 inch diameter, freshly cooked in, or on a cast iron pan or maybe a griddle! And lastly, the hummus was fresh, and served very artistically with a little well of olive oil surrounding the middle like a moat around a castle! A healthy and delicious Mediterranean meal!"
