I love roast duck but in other places the skin often isn't crisp at all, or barely so. This was fantastic, and not over spiced so that I could taste the rich dark meat. But the real surprise for me was a side of pears poached in port wine. I had never heard of such a thing. The flavor was amazing, especially with a bite of duck and the creamy risotto The service was quite friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was wonderful, though the music was a bit loud.
