"Got recommended this place as my wife and I are tired of disappointing brisket and BBQ. Sadly it only delivered exactly that. Place was near empty they still managed to serve us cold brisket, my brisket sandwich was chewy and the 3 dollar sides are so small it's almost insulting. Look elsewhere for ur brisket and meat cravings. This ain't it."

"We attended a Private Event wedding at Big John?s and we really enjoyed the venue. The party was for 50 people. There was a buffet, music, dancing, drinks, and very festive. The deck was available as well. We had a delicious meal including BBQ variety of meats, salads cole slaw potato salad, baked beans, Texas style toast, fried okra, and other delicious sides. The brisket was so tender it was eaten with a fork no knife needed. The staff was friendly and assisted in anyway requested. We will definitely be back and we would recommend holding an event there. Very Pleasant experience?????."

"I've been coming here for some years in person and now ordering from DD. Their crispy chicken is delicious! I like the Buffalo Wrap Combo and order it often. My favorite sides are the mac and cheese, mashed sweet potato, or the creamed spinach. When I go in person, everyone is always nice. I prefer La Rosa any day over other franchise chicken places. It's just great local chicken! I will miss this restaurant when our family moves in a couple of years. We'll continue to eat here in the meantime."

"The pulled pork and smoked turkey were both smoked to perfection and juicy! The sweet cornbread, macaroni n cheese and coleslaw were just as delicious. I got the mix sauce which was part heat and mild, which had exceptional flavor with a perfect mix of the two. I would highly recommend stopping in if you like BBQ and just great food! Only complaint I have is they're not in West Michigan."

"The first time in the restaurant. The young lady who took my order was very nice. But the man who made my order was not? I ordered 4 pieces dark and when I opened it at work, it was half chicken with a breast and wing I wanted all dark and that's what I asked. Then he was very cheap with rice and beans and asked him to put a little more. The attitude he gave me. I didn't have to give any utensils or napkins. The food is salty. The chicken on the skin, but not the meat. And the chicken is dry. A sauce or ketchup is required for the dryness of the meat. And ice cold for the salt."

Discovered down the road that I was given honey mustard sauce instead of the queso that came on the sandwich for the last few years. "I order from la Rosa in Marlboro all the time. Today, I ordered some food along with a grilled chicken Gorgonzola salad. Apparently, there are caromalized nuts in the salad and I broke my tooth! A good, healthy, tooth. I called them to let them know and the manager was like oh well?? You know we put nuts in there.. I was oh ok!!! so, it’s ok that I broke my tooth?? Not a I’m sorry, I hope your ok? NOTHING. I’m currently at the dentist… I am very disappointed that they treat their customers like this!!!!"

"We spent $60 on three dinner plates. The chicken wings were tiny, overseasonded, and hardly any meat. We ordered two sides of yams, but only got one. We were told they were out after waiting 15 minutes for our food. We also ordered mashed potatoes. We didn't receive those either, as they were out. Most all the sides were gone and we were left with double Mac and cheese for all of our sides. The Mac and cheese tasted like velveta. They were also out of desserts. The wait for the good was entirely too long. I will not be back and I absolutely do not recommend."

"First visit to the Colorado Smokehouse and I wasn’t disappointed. Chose 3 meats and 2 sides option. Meats: chopped brisket, burnt ends, and hot links.
