"I hate to be writing this review because my husband and I have been coming to court street tavern pretty regularly over the last year and a half and it's always been good (some service issues here and there, but food was always great. But we went today for brunch with my aunt and uncle who were in town and I'm wondering if they are under new management or ownership because everything about the experience was awful. We sit down and my water glass was dirty like crumbs in and around the glass. I request a new one. We are also immediately told that they are missing some of the menu items. Turns out they were missing most of the menu. They had nothing from the starters portion of the menu (like 8 or so items), and they didn't have basil for the drink my husband ordered. Fine whatever. When we ordered, my aunt ordered the omelette and asked for cheddar instead of goat cheese and they said no problem. It's brought out and it is filled with goat cheese. She sends it back and they fix it but the new omelette was undercooked. I ordered the avocado toast with bacon, a dish I've ordered from them probably 10+ times. It is brought out and there's poached egg on it, which i didn't order (it's an add on for a fee) so i send it back and they scrape the egg off. They bring it out again and i noticed that it was literally just guacamole smeared on what looked like McDonalds HASH BROWNS. like wtf? Did not have the patience to send it back again for it to be corrected and put on bread, but holy cow, this was the worst dining experience I've ever had. I don't know what's going on over there but unfortunately we will not be back."
