"Recently changed from Pho Saigon to Pho City, then to Pho Spot, with new owners each time. They seem to have the same cooks as before, but with a great, new, updated interior. The bahn mi's are only 3 bucks and are delicious on nice firm bread. The pho ga (Chicken noodle soup) is much improved from before as well, as the owner told me they are boiling and seasoning the chicken almost to order. Apparently before, they made a huge batch and would just chop up and portion out your food. I noticed that they must not be using the same preservatives as before too, which is great. Previously I would have a bowl of Pho and feel flush and warm due to preservatives in the food. I haven't felt that way at all since this new owner took over in late November. Edit 1/25/17 The new owner Linda is fantastic. If you're a regular, she greets you by name as you walk in. She's very attentive and open to feedback on every item. I'm really pleased with how much the restaurant has improved with this new ownership."
