"Caution to those deciding to go here on a Friday night with your friends: do not trust the clientele around you in this establishment. A close friend was roofied at Around the Corner tonight and had to be taken to the hospital. Someone placed a drug into her drink while we were in the karaoke room. Around the Corner may be fun and enjoyable if you are careful, but this could happen to you too should you choose to visit this location to have drinks with friends. The environment fostered at this establishment later into the night is loud, crowded, uncomfortably over occupied by single men, and unchecked by authoritative staff members. Around the Corner you are great during the daylight, but it’s not safe at night for your customers here. I don’t trust this location in Lakewood and you shouldn’t either, exercise your own caution while here and do not under any circumstances take your eyes off of your drinks. The single males who visit this location are not your friends."
