"the owners of this restaurant are very eager to give their customers a great culinary wide. they have a separate vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu, so safe to ask it. they work with blue zones project umpqua to compile healthy plant-based menu items that are delicious and satisfying. the service is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. if they see a dish on their regular menu they want, the owner has said that tofu or sweet can be replaced for most meat dishes. If they want little or no oil, they should ask."

"Don't be deceived by the exterior of Fortune Seafood restaurant, as it offers some of the best Chinese cuisine in the greater Seattle area! The interior is clean and simple. My family of four came here for lunch and ordered four dishes; we were stuffed and even had leftovers to bring home. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The Chinese Watercress in Sheung Tang was cooked to perfection, with a nice crunch and served in a flavorful soup base topped with garlic and SPAM slices. The deep fried tofu was presented beautifully, with 8 triangles coated in sauce and topped with fresh green onions. The fish fillet eggplant hot pot was amazing, with a perfect flavor and a good amount of fish fillet. The eggplant was cooked just right. The dried scallop and egg white fried rice was not too oily and paired well with the other dishes. The owner was kind and friendly, and the staff was attentive. Overall, a great dining experience and I would definitely come back again for the authentic Chinese food at Fortune Seafood."

"Not sure if I tried the restaurant on an off day, but the food here was bland, flavorless, and watery. I was excited based on the recent positive reviews to order take out, but was tremendously unsatisfied. Our family tried both a dinner combo in the Orange Chicken and Sesame Seed Chicken. The portions are pretty small for the Orange Chicken, but beyond that the flavors weren't robust as expected. The Sesame Seed Chicken came with broccoli which felt like it was all swimming in a broth. But there was no season in sight, not even salt.We added two chicken rolls to our order which were mediocre at best.Unfortunately, the food wasn't a hit for us but the customer service was great and friendly."

"So I came in for a big bowl of Hot Sour Soup, which was amazing! I paired it with a Aloe King Juice with the pulpy bits ; I was not going to write about this experience alone, the soup is what you expect at most Chinese eateries. But then something special happened, I witnessed this little Chinese Man come walking out of the kitchen and go to the fish tank and catch a fish. About 10 minutes later a lady (probably his wife bring out this big bowl of what looks to be fish soup. I can’t help myself, so I ask if that fish was used in the soup? She proudly says, yes! Wow!!!! Last time I had fish that fresh I was in the country of Myanmar. I ask if they do whole fried fish? The answer again was yes! Wow!!!! I ask if they prepare it fresh as well? Yes!!!! "We have ordered from this restaurant several times in the past, mainly because there are limited vegan options in this area. The food is good, although I'm not a fan of the plastic packaging they use. However, today we were very disappointed to receive an egg dish, even though we had specifically ordered vegan. I don't like wasting food, so I reluctantly ate it, despite my strong beliefs against consuming animal products. This is the first non-vegan item I've eaten in almost 30 years, and I can tell that my taste buds have changed. There is always a risk for vegans when ordering from a non-vegan restaurant. "the Shrimp Lo Mein (Pint) , and Sesame Chicken (Combo) were delicious. the wantons in the egg Wonton Egg Drop Soup (Quart) were also super tasty. however, the soup itself was a little on the bland side in terms of seasoning. and the Crab Rangoon (6)...was mostly cream cheese and very little crab. I think crab rangoon was a misnomer in this case. theyre just cream cheese puffs with a hint of crab flavoring. I like an even mixture of crab and cream cheese in my crab rangoons."

"66. 66. Curry Shrimp had requested mild and extra shrimp. there are chili flakes everywhere throughout the dish, making it anything but mild. Will be throwing it away. Didnt taste or look like a curry dish to me. The steamed Dumplings where very good."
