"Kruse’s Deer Lake Inn became my favorite restaurant in the area. They have some unique flavors (like their current harvest salad, the candied pecans, apples, bacon, goat cheese and a bacon vinegar that sounds questionable, but is quite delicious). And everything on the menu is great and they have a wide selection of dishes, depending on how I feel (Ribs, parmesan encrusted flounder, fish and chips, black chicken slaughter, Tortellini Pasta with chicken and palomino sauce). You always have a good desert on the menu also (the four berries crucifix is my favorite, and now it is apple crucifix). The service was absolutely amazing every time I was there, and the management was also exceptional."
