"I 'll just get right into it. The food is good here, but leaves something to be desired. I have eaten Indian food most of my life, and a friend who has never had it found this place. She was excited to try it, and I was happy that she was willing to step outside of her comfort zone. The samosas were good, but you can never really go wrong with a savory pastry . We got an order of the lamb (ground) and the vegetable. The rice pellow was really good. Flavorful and pleasing to look at. The masala vegetables were ok but watery and kind of lacking in flavor. The butter chicken...was not butter chicken. This was almost like chicken in a lightly creamed tomato sauce. It wasn 't horrible, but definitely not as I 've experienced it to be so many times in the past at other establishments. The restaurant is nice, and the ambiance and service are great. Personally, I 'd eat here again if I was in a pinch, but I wouldn 't put this at the top of my list of recommendations. especially if they 've never had the cuisine before. My friend left disappointed and unsatisfied and that broke my foodie heart."
