"I have frequented Cafe Verdi's for a long time now. I have never been disappointed with the food. I was not happy with the service once, but that was it. It's a great menu and the dishes are certainly substantial. If the weather is nice you can sit outdoors. It's just across the street from Broward's Main Library where there is often time live music and/or other events going on in the summer. Its well within earshot and you can see everything from Cafe Verdis. The atmosphere is very nice with brick interior walls giving it that Italian/Greek feel. It's one of those places where I feel refreshed after a morning of the grind. The deserts are wonderful but it can be difficult to get back to work after that. It's mostly filled with professionals from the downtown Fort Lauderdale area. Very lively but not overly noisy. Prices are quite comparable for the downtown area and the portions are large so you could take home for a snack or second meal. The pasta dishes are great! I highly recommend it."
